Drinking Tea & Herding Spiders with Sian Sibley

  • Bedminster Quaker Meeting House Wedmore Vale Bristol, England, BS3 5HX United Kingdom (map)

Star Club hosts Sian Sibley for our monthly Open Lecture, the first to move to our new venue at The Visible College in South Gloucestershire.

Drinking Tea & Herding Spiders

Sian Sibley

Sian will be speaking about running magical groups and pastoral care within the occult community, bringing her three decades of experience in both leading the DragonOak Coven in South Wales and her career in teaching. Safeguarding is an important issue for all groups and the well-being of practitioners should be emphasised in any organisation.

The talk will be interactive and offer different perspectives on running a coven, with tales of adventures and a fun group exercise to engage all attending.

Sian is the author of Unveiling the Green, a book on working psychologically, alchemically and astrologically with plant spirits, and Black Paths and Green Cathedrals, her take on ecological witchcraft and working with the spirit of the trees. Sian is the organiser of the South Wales Occult Conference and is offering an Autumn Equinox workshop and celebration at The Visible College which you can attend here.
